Last December 17, he and his family (mom, brother and nephew) went to Robinsons Starmills, Pampanga to witness the Giant Lantern Festival.
This is a yearly competition of the biggest and brightest lanterns made by the best lantern-makers in the region. The materials used for each entry in the giant lantern festival may sum up to approximately P500, 000 or more (not counting the hard work and craftsmanship put into it).
This is truly a sight to behold every this Christmas. Thousands of people flock to where the event is held to marvel at the lights of these giant lanterns.
When planning to visit, make sure to be there hours before the start as it can get really crowded. There is an admission fee for those who want to see the lanterns up-close. However, a good spot from the distance is decent enough for those who don’t want to spend. After all, the lanterns are gigantic and can be seen from afar.
Christmas day is just a few minutes from now. The stoked traveler wishes everyone: his blog readers, acquaintances, officemates (Trenders, Sunlifers and HPers), inspire@hp.com org mates, family and closest friends a very merry Christmas :) Enjoy!
